Located in the peaceful Carinthian hills, this hotel offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. the imaginative locally-sourced dinners were undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. the hotel's location was ideal for mountain hiking and the buffet breakfast was satisfying.
Although the hotel's location is stunning, it's important to note that it is a 20-minute drive up a mountain with no bus service. the creaky old floorboards can be heard throughout the hotel, which may make it difficult for light sleepers to get a good night's rest.

The hotel's location on top of the hill offers stunning views of the surrounding nature of Austria. The wooden apartment was warm and cozy, adding to the overall experience. The buffet breakfast was good, and the dinners were imaginative and made with locally-sourced ingredients and herbs. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The buffet breakfast at the hotel was quite good, offering a variety of options to choose from. the dinners were impressive, with creative dishes that showcased local ingredients and flavors. The location of the hotel was ideal for those looking to explore the nearby mountains, although a car is necessary due to the secluded nature of the area. One more advantage was the charming old-world feel of the hotel, which added to the overall ambiance and made it feel cozy during our Xmas stay.
There was a bit of a downside to the hotel as well. The creaky old floorboards were quite noisy and could be a bit bothersome, especially if you are a light sleeper.
